Good Comrade Kamov, sacrificing its rotors for the Motherland

Something about the radials on the An-14 look a little out of place/proportion. I think a pair of TPE331s would balance out the appearance.

PZL Skytruck and the An-28 are the turboprop derivatives of the an-14

I thought it looked familiar. I guess I've never seen an An-14 before, being much more familiar with the Skytruck and -28.

The Antonov likewise sacrificed its wings.

It looks a lot better when it’s all in one piece.

where is the door on this thing? it looks so small that if the doors are at the cockpit you’d be basically stepping into the prop

Looks like the doors are in the back, with folding stairs.

The Ka-26 is an odd,
odd
looking machine.

It is, but many purpose-built aircraft are.

huh. intersting.
feels like a utilitarian cargo plane with some seats thrown in.
I ADORE this look though. twin vertical stabilizers, and high mounted twin engines.

I think that defines the Soviet design ethos very well. It looks like it would make a great flying camper. And it would have been built to operate from sketchy airfields.
